Remodelers’ Tools: Pinterest

There are a lot of tools out there for remodelers that don’t come in your toolbox.

Have you heard about Pinterest? The virtual pin board? No? You’re in luck.

What is it?

“Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes and organize their favorite recipes.”

It works like this: you find a picture on the Internet and click a “pin” button you’ve saved in your bookmarks. Pinterest saves the image and its link, and lets you categorize it how you see fit. Or, browse Pinterest and “repin” images you like. It’s a way to organize the web how YOU like it.

According to Tech Crunch, there are already 2.5 million Pinterest users. And that number just keeps growing.

How can I use it?

Pinterest is a GREAT tool for remodelers. We know that a picture is worth 1,000 words. What if you were able to browse the web for images your clients might like, and show them in one easy place?

What if you could browse for new ideas for your business?

What if you could ask your clients to create their own pinboard so you know EXACTLY what they have in mind for their space?

With Pinterest, you can do all that. And it’s free.

We’ve even created a CedarSafe account – email us at cedarsafeclosets@gmail.com to request an invite, and feel free to repin what you like! Or if you’re already a Pinterest user, follow us here.

In 2012, CedarSafe is going to show remodelers tools on the web they may not know exist, but soon won’t be able to live without. If you have an idea for something we should feature, email us at cedarsafeclosets@gmail.com.
